Army - Navy Bar - in - Wood 12 bore. Gun originally purchased in 1890 by Colonel DeLancey Floyd-Jones.
His military career spanned the years from 1846 to his retirement in 1879. A Wikipedia search reveals
some very interesting information detailing his long and distinguished service from the Mexican and Civil
Wars through several commands on the American Frontier. Back to the gun!! It is in Excellent condition
throughout. Barrels appear to have been reblacked many years ago. As pictures display, case colors
are very strong and vivid . Treble grip action is tight and completely "On Face". Gun is in amazing
condition for this vintage. The low mounted hammers allow the top lever to clear the right hammer
when opening on full cock. Chambers are in original 2 1/2" length. Very good shooting dimensions.
